Mission of the proposed Rotarians on Social Networks Fellowship (ROSNF)
| The mission of the proposed Rotarians on Social Networks
Fellowship (ROSNF) is to promote Rotary fellowship and service utilizing
all the tools available on social networks. The current social
network service utilized by ROSNF is
www.Facebook.com which has over 350 million users (3rd largest
country in the world comparing populations) and over 35,000 Rotarian
fans of the
Rotary InternationalI page. ROSNF will promote fellowship and service by offering
help to its members including training on how to use social networks for
fellowship among fellowship members and also Rotary club members,
district members, and Rotary special interest groups including Group
Study Exchange
teams, International projects, Rotary Foundation, Action Groups,
Rotaract, and many more. ROSNF will also develop and support
additional social network applications to further enhance the ability of
Rotarians to find fellow Rotarians around the world via social
networks in order to utilize new acquaintances as new opportunities for
fellowship and service. |
